PROJECT FOR PEACE AND INTERNATIONAL UNDERSTANDING
Livestream for peace and international understanding – The ifbbw supports #LeaveNoOneBehind
On March 16, 2022, the charity livestream event “Concert For Ludy – The Sound of Peace“ a strong sign for peace and international understanding. The ifbbw Institute for Visual Movement supported the event voluntarily with live streamTechnology, know-how, and full commitment. A clear statement against the war in Ukraine.
Artists united for a common message
In the Berlin Club Hole 44 In Neukölln, renowned artists such as Fatoni, KLAN, Milliarden, MPNG, Daniel Donskoy, Mimi Mitina, and Vyka took the stage. The emotional highlight: the Ukrainian band Selo i Ludy. They were accompanied by Live broadcast from the war zone in Kharkiv and thus reached the audience directly from Kyiv.
Art, culture and solidarity via livestream
The evening was moderated by Annie Hoffmann, who spoke with the NGOs from Karuna eV and LeaveNoOneBehind about their important work. The Traumzeitkollektiv, under the direction of director Mohammed R. (MoRaben) and co-producer Janus S., impressed with a moving shadow play. It made the audience reflect – on war, flight, and the hope for peace.
Volunteering for a strong message
The entire event was made possible entirely through volunteer work. Artists performed without payment, and technical teams – including us – worked pro bono. The event was supported by numerous players in Berlin's event and film industries.
The result: a solidarity project that focused on peace and international understanding through the power of culture – live, moving, and lasting.
