#wirbleibenmehr Concert against right-wing hate speech and violence
In July 2019, Chemnitz once again became a strong symbol of solidarity, stance, and diversity. At the #wirbleibenmehr concert against right-wing hate speech and violence, the ifbbw Institute for Image Movement took over the entire video production. We ensured the smooth Live broadcast. Together with ArteConcert and YouTube, we implemented a major multimedia project with a 70-person team on site.
Livestream production with 16 cameras and special technology
With a outside broadcast van, 16 cameras, including a cable camera, Blackcam on rails and a live drone, the ifbbw Institute for Visual Movement realized the event in impressive quality. The production teams precisely coordinated the image and sequence direction to broadcast all acts on both stages live – including the performances of Herbert Grönemeyer, Fatoni and Newcomer Masculine.
More than just music: Festival with attitude
In addition to the musical acts, we also documented the expanded supporting program. Discussion forums, a celebrity basketball game, and a skateboarding contest provided additional reach and thematic depth. The festival took a clear stand against right-wing hate speech and violence – a message that, thanks to the video production, resonated far beyond Chemnitz.
TV version & video on demand for Arte Concert
In addition to the live broadcast, the ifbbw Institute for Image Movement was responsible for the cut of the TV highlights for Arte Concert. In addition, the team produced all artist performances as Video on Demand (VOD) for the Arte Media Library.
