Planning at the highest level – with an eye on the perfect moment
Already in autumn 2023, the Serviceplan Group SE & Co. KG, to handle the media coverage of the world record attempt. Together with our local network, we developed a flexible and high-performance production setup.
A very exciting challenge – because: In Nazaré, the perfect wave can come at any time – and we had to be ready on site with a maximum lead time of 48 hours.
The Nazaré Canyon – a stage for extreme performances
Between October and March, storms over the Atlantic generate massive amounts of electricity. Swells. Only in a few places in the world do waves of this size rise up – and this was exactly the stage for our spectacular live production.
Technique, timing, teamwork
Our services ranged from technical planning and camera technology to on-call availability for weeks, and even beyond. post production with Color Grading and cut. We delivered a fully operational setup that could handle the extremes of Big Wave Surfing captured in impressive images.
